Our History

On March 12, the day before the end of the 2022 winter Paralympic Games in Beijing, Artron successfully delivered the last batch of printed products of the Beijing Winter Olympics printing project. This marks a complete success of a series of important work since Artron undertook to print the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics bid report in 2015.

On March 18, the National Copyright Administration issued an important notice, which granted Artron Art Group the title of “National Copyright Demonstration Unit”.

On March 19, Artron Art Group won the “GBA Most Innovative Value Award” in the 1st Pilot 9+2 GBA Award Appraisal.

On August 12, the signing ceremony of Shenzhen Capital Holdings Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Huitong Rongxin Investment Co., Ltd. for strategic investment in Artron Art (Group) Co., Ltd. was held at the Shenzhen Investment Tower.

On October 12, Artron and Artprice, both international art institutions, signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Lyon, France, which was a milestone in the art circles between China and the West and even the world. The two sides would build a “Silk Road” connecting the Chinese and Western art markets, with a view to establishing a globalized, diversified and professional art market and exchange platform, and ultimately promoting the sustainable development of the global art market.

On October 15, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Reform and Opening-up, Artron Art Group was honored to invite artist Cai Guoqiang to make on-site creation at Artron (Shenzhen) Art Center on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Artron. As one of the special art program to commemorate the Anniversary, this creation was also Mr. Cai’s retrospect and acknowledgment for Artron’s warm support for a long time. More than 200 well-known artists and entrepreneurs from all parts of China were present to witness.

On November 18, Artron Art Group received the “Qualification Certificate for State Confidential Carrier Printing” issued by the National Administration of State Secrets Protection.

On February 3, Artron Art Group and Sotheby’s College of Art reached a strategic cooperation agreement.

On June 29, the Artwork Copyright Working Committee of the Copyright Society of China was established at Artron (Beijing) Art Center.

On October 24, the opening ceremony for printing of the “Historical Factions of Paintings in China” – the Complete Collection of Paintings of the Ming Dynasty and the Complete Collection of Paintings of the Qing Dynasty, a key national publishing project in China, was officially launched at Artron (Shanghai) Art Center.

On October 29, the opening ceremony of the Forbidden City College (Shenzhen) was held at Artron (Shenzhen) Art Center. The senior lecturer team of the Forbidden City College (Shenzhen) would be perfectly integrated with Artron’s excellent art service platform to promote the popularization of traditional culture and art in the Greater Bay Area.

On November 20, the signing ceremony of the Letter of Intent for Strategic Cooperation between Japan CCC Group and Artron Art Group was held.

On May 18, Artron Art Group donated RMB 1.25 million to the earthquake-stricken area in Sichuan.

On July 23, Artron Art Group successfully printed the Program Lists and the Media Guides for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

On August 7, Wan Jie, chairman of Artron Art Group, was elected for and took part in the torch relay of Olympic Games in Beijing on that day.

On December 10, Shenzhen was successfully elected as the “City of Design” in the world. Artron solely assumed the task of designing and printing the Presentation for the City of Design, and contributed distinguished merit once again.

On January 10, the signing and opening ceremony of the “Application Research and Promotion Base of China Printing Standardization Technology” was held at Artron (Beijing) Art Center, and Artron Art Group became an Application Research and Promotion Base of China Printing Standardization Technology.

On May 16, the Ministry of Culture named Artron Art Group as a “Demonstration Base of National Cultural Industry”.

On November, Artron successfully printed Manchester United Opus, one of the largest books in the world, which has been widely praised by fans and collectors all over the world, and has made a positive contribution to the spread of sports culture.

On October 29, the Mei Lanfang’s Collection of Historical Materials and Pictures of Chinese Opera, printed by Artron, won the only gold award of “Schonste Bucher aus aller Welt” in Leipzig.

On September 29, the Mei Lanfang’s Collection of Historical Materials and Pictures of Chinese Opera, printed by Artron, won the America Benny Award in the Premier PRINT Awards competition. This was the first time that a Chinese mainland printing enterprise has won this award.

On April 20, Shenzhen Artron Network Co., Ltd. was established. After years of development, www.artron.net has become the world’s most important professional portal website in the field of Chinese art.

On May 22, Artron Art Group received its business license and officially went into operation. On the same day, the company logo designed by Chen Shaohua, a well-known Chinese designer, was introduced into service.
