It is recommended that you submit the artwork in CMYK color mode which fit for traditional printing process. The artwork can either be submitted in AI or PDF format, we would recommend the use of InDesign for file make ready. The resolution of the pictures should be as close to 300 dpi, this is the minimum requirement for a high-quality printing job.
For hard cover books normally will need about 3 weeks for production after printing file approved (PO quantity less than 10,000). Among them 3-5 working days for printing, another 3-5 days for book assembling, 3 days for book binding and 2 days for packaging.
For softcover magazines, booklets, brochures and catalog the turnaround time can be at least 3-10 days.
In China, all publications for export must be approved by the local News Publishing Management Bureau. We must have a print permit before printing. In cope with this, an authorization letter will be needed from the author/publisher, and if the book contains political, sexual, religious content will need specially report to Chinese government for audit.
For new customer will need 30%-50% deposit being paid before printing and the balance being paid before shipment. We can provide quotation in different currencies includes US Dollar(USD)/Euro (EUR)/British Pound (GBP)/Australian Dollar (AUD)/Canada Dollar(CAD)/Hong Kong Dollar(HKD). For customers with good credit will have terms of 30/60/90 days after shipping out, it depends on the credit report from our insurance company.
We can arrange shipping by ocean, train, truck or air. Customer either can choose shipping by their own forwarder or arranged by Artron.
